Re: Chassis Rail Query

Thanks for confirming that Allan. I hoped that that would be the case but wasn't 100% sure.

Chassis Rail Query

I have a quick query about the chassis rails on the Tamiya 6x4 trucks. Does anyone know if the Chassis Rails they use are the same for each of the different trucks (i.e. does Tamiya use the same predrilled rail for the Mercedes Actros 3363, MAN 26.500 and Scania R620) or are they specific for each m...

Re: Set Up Query

Thanks Allan, that actually makes sense now. When I tested the failsafe as I thought it should work (i.e. full throttle forward then switch the controller off) it did what I expected and stopped dead. It's only when it was stationary and our youngest son switched it off that we found the problem. Th...

Set Up Query

Hi All, I tried to post this in the Electronics section but it wouldn't let me for some reason, so posting here in the hope someone can help or advise. After months of deliberation and coming with me to the last meet, my eldest son decided which truck he would like. It was duly purchased and we have...

Re: Apex Park Play Day 19

Hi Barrie,

Can I add a +1 to the list. My eldest son now has his own truck and he would love to come along too if that's ok?

Regards,

Warren.

Re: R/C Mercedes Sprinter Van

Hi Guys,

That's amazing! Thankyou both for the info.

I genuinely thought that it was an actual Panel Van model rather than a conversion off of the Bruder Chassis Cab variant, hence why I was struggling to find anything about it.

Thankyou both again.

R/C Mercedes Sprinter Van

Hi All, I am hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction with this. I am trying to find out who (if anyone) produces an R/C Mercedes Sprinter Panel Van. I have seen some footage of a couple of RC events where there were examples of these (one of which was the UK National Gat...

Hi Barrie,

I can probably help out at this again this year as it is midweek.

Re: Monthly meeting October 28th

Hope yesterdays meet was a success. Unfortunately, I haven't yet been able to get along to the new venue as a change in my work pattern has made it difficult to attend :( , but I am hoping to try and get along to November's meet. Hopefully Teri (or someone) managed to get some photo's for the galler...

Re: Hello,Hello

Welcome And-K, Great truck you have. I have an Actros too, albeit a Tamiya one, also with a Bruder low loader which I stretched to make it look a little more to scale. The monthly meets are a great place to get some tips and ideas and I'm sure you'll be made to feel welcome. I havent been able to ge...
