Trailer Power legs.

Post by Triple axle »

I am fitting the Tamiya electric leg kit to my trailer, If intending to fit the Beier IR light unit would modellers fit the auto switch as comes with the Tamiya kit, or use switches/ servo through the infra Red unit. Just fishing for the best ideas. :?: :D :D

Have fitted trailer legs, using R switch on my Spektrum, to obtain required 4 movements, lock, unlock, legs up and legs down.

If you are fitting a beier trailer system then it's easy enough to use that for the legs but it is a 3 volt motor so use an ESC at low speed , add suppression to the motor and a ferrite ring to the receiver lead.

Thanks Allan, when I order the Beier trailer unit off you I will sort it that way, maybe a bit less fiddly. It works as it is, but it’s not perfect.
